Finding the right job for YOU takes time. It's like finding the right person to date. You have to go on multiple interviews and multiple dates to find that one special one!
A friend recently mentioned her frustration over going to an interview and thinking she was a shoe in for the job. She even went out and bought new shoes and a new outfit to celebrate! When she found out she didn't get the job she was perplexed.
I advised her that getting the right job for you is a process. It doesn't happen on the first, second or heck even the third interview.
You don't decide to get into a relationship with the first person you've dated in years so why do this with a prospective new employer! We have all had interviews and taken the job out of desperation let's face it! Then the next week get a call for the job we really wanted. Always go with your Gut. I tell my clients over and over again. If something doesn't feel right walk away. You never know what trophy job is around the corner:)
